The Union Yellowjackets saw their baseball season come to an end in the first round of the Class 2A playoffs. 

After falling 10-7 to Sebastopol on Monday, Union took on Ingomar in first-round play, falling 10-7 on Friday and 7-3 on Saturday. 

Union ends the season with a 14-10 record. 

Ingomar 6, Union 5

The Yellowjackets were unable to hold onto an early lead as the Falcons rallied to take a one-run win on Friday. 

Union scored two in the first and three in the second and led 5-0 after two innings. But Ingomar scored one in the third, two in the fourth and three in the seventh. 

Union outhit Ingomar 7-4 in the contest but issued four walks and had five errors. Hayden Dolan was 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs while Jackson Flake was 2-for-3 an scored a run. Samuel Allawine singled and drove in a run while Turner Johnson singled and scored. Rafe Manning walked three times and scored a run while Kooper Fultz walked twice and scored a run. 

Kooper Fultz started on the mound and pitched 6 1/3 innings, giving up six runs with only one being earned. He have up four hits and four walks while striking out four. Allawine got the last two outs with a pair of strikeouts. 

Ingomar 7, Union 3

The Falcons built an early lead and took a four-run win over the Yellowjackets to sweep the series on Saturday. 

Union had seven hits as Hayden Dolan continued his hot hitting, going 3-for-4 with a double. Samuel Allawine was 2-for-3 and scored a run while Jacob Freeman doubled and drove in a run. 

Freeman started on the mound and pitched five innings, giving up five runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out four. Tanner Watkins pitched theist inning and gave up two runs on three hits while striking out two.
